Usually I do have a lot to tell about the remix and how it evolved. This time things are different. I got another assignment first and dug deep into the pool of material and had an idea how things should become. Then there was this second mail with the new assignment…

To be honest, Ant.Survila was not on my radar. I did like a couple of remixes, but unlike for many other artists here, I did not have an emotional bond. But isn’t that, what Secret Mixters are for? So I wanted to dig through all uploads - and didn’t made it beyond the first one. :)

FROZEN MEADOW is a great, epic song. I’m astound, that it has not been remixed yet. But how to make a song like this better? Well, I did not try, I deconstructed it. A lot of Valhalla, the marimba mangeld, the bass ping-ponged, some piano excerpts.

In the end I ended up with my Launchpad triggering just nine different tracks, and it was good. Some final polishing, eq’ing and here we are.
